Fasting Diary Day Two

Yesterday was hard, The devil has been fighting me in my mind terribly. Sunday morning service was good, My sister, Sanda, who has recently come back to the Lord was with me and all my kids were in one service together. I love that so much! But for some reason, I had such a heaviness over me. I laid down Sunday night in angst, and tossed and turned with worries about so many things. But today when I woke up, I told the Lord that I would determine in my heart to walk in joy, seek His presence, and walk in His power. I keep hearing the word surrender. I see it when I'm reading His Word and in past journal entries, I've pulled out to gain motivation from. Lord, if there is something I need to surrender, please help me see what it is and to do it.
Then, I sat down to meditate on the scripture for the 21 Day Fast and I was so thankful! Encouraged! Excited! God, your mercies ARE new everyday and You have always been faithful to me. I am starting this day fresh!

I pray you will start this day fresh with me too! God is faithful to finish the work He began in us!
