No More Stumbling



Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, And to present you faultless Before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy." 
Jude 1:24
How many of us stumbled on our wellness journeys just yesterday?  Or today even.  Finishing the leftovers on someone else's plate, (and not tracking it?)  Not getting our water in, finding ourselves in the pantry searching for a snack at 10:30 at night, when we should just go onto bed and get in the Word?  We can stumble in so many ways.  Friend, your weight loss journey this time is just that; a journey.  And God knows that we will have little hiccups from time to time, but can I tell you that is not stumbling?  
Stumbling is quitting.  
Stumbling is giving up.  
Stopping before you reach your goal.  And that, my friend is what God is protecting you from.  Each and everyday, He is working on you, building you up, and creating you as a new creature.  Not a perfect creature; just a new one who won't give up this time.  And one who realizes where their help comes from!  
Be encouraged today; that extra cookie last night?  Not a stumbling block; just part of the journey.  And today?  Today is a new day, my friend.  A day for you to go stand in the presence of the Lord, and find great joy! He is protecting you from the stumbling blocks!

Let's Pray.
Dear God,
For far too long, I have viewed my "hiccups" as stumbling blocks keeping me from lasting success.  Thank You God for showing me that they are just part of your plan, and part of my journey.  A journey in which You are navigating me to life-long weight loss success.  Today, I stand in Your presence, strong in this journey because of  You!  Thank You!
In  the mighty name of Jesus Christ I pray,

E4M DAILY STRATEGY
No More Stumbling
Where do you need to be reminded that your "hiccups" are not failures?  Here are a list of areas, so many people deem as failures.  Today, see these as opportunities for your growth and learning.  

1. The extra cookie:  Did you know you could burn it right back off with 5 minutes of squats?  There is always a way to get back on track!

2. The snack eaten too late at night:  O.K., but guess what?  It's all about habits.  You are likely looking for that snack out of habit.  Replace this unhealthy habit with a healthy one.  Try being in bed by the time you would normally go searching for snacks, having some quiet time with the Lord instead.

3.  The fries I ate off my kiddo's, bff's, hubby's whoever's plate:  Next time?  Let your loved ones know you are tempted by their leftovers.  Have them get those fries in the trash before you can get to them!

4. The weigh-in you skipped:  It's okay.  Commit right now, that no matter what, this week you will be accountable.
